Katie & Steven’s Engagement Session: A Perfect Day Captured in Autumn Colors

Fall is one of the most magical times of the year for engagement photos—think golden leaves, crisp air, and soft, glowing sunlight. Katie and Stephen’s engagement session was no exception, blending the beauty of autumn with their love and the fun presence of their adorable puppy, Rooney.

We kicked off the day at the charming Allegheny Commons Park, where the fall foliage provided the perfect backdrop for their photos. The park, with its winding paths and tall trees, was just as dreamy as the couple themselves. Rooney, their sweet pup, was the star of the show frolicking in the leaves, adding a playful touch to the session. There’s something special about capturing the love between a couple and their furry companion—it brings out the joy and warmth in the photos. After spending some time in the park, we ventured over to the Riverwalk on the North Shore, just in time for sunset. As the golden hour light began to bathe the city, the couple shared some quiet moments by the river, with the iconic Pittsburgh skyline serving as the perfect backdrop. The city has such a unique energy, and Katie and Steven fit right into the urban vibe, their connection glowing as brightly as the setting sun.

Of course, no Pittsburgh engagement session would be complete without a few photos featuring the city’s iconic Roberto Clemente Bridge. The bridge, with its striking yellow arches, is a symbol of both Pittsburgh’s sports culture and its beautiful skyline, and it provided an unforgettable setting for Katie and Steven.
