Grand Hall at the Priory Wedding - Kristy & John

Kristy and John were married on a beautiful spring day at Calvary United Methodist Church on the North Side of Pittsburgh. The reception followed at the always lovely Grand Hall at the Priory.

These two lovebirds met while working for the same company. They each worked there for several years before meeting in person.

Kristy says: ” He had called my office one day and I luckily answered the phone. When the person he was looking for was unavailable he and I began to talk and there was an immediate connection. We continued touching base and talking for about 6 weeks and then finally we met for the first time which was also our first date! Honestly, I think we fell in love with each other before we had even met. The connection we had over the phone and via conversation alone was very strong. The sparks flew once we met in person!”

The day was fun and romantic. It was chalk full of love and laughter. Here are some of our favorite photos from their big day!

Kristy’s mom beamed with pride as she helped her daughter get ready for the wedding. Kristy & her father opted to have the first look. It was very emotional.
John’s father helping his son get ready. John’s smile says it all. He is a man in love and about to marry his sweetheart.

“I loved that it stormed during our ceremony…it made me feel like it was my grandparents & family who had passed making sure we knew they were there. Sure enough, as soon as we were ready to leave the church the rain stopped and didn’t come back all day! It was amazing!!! “- Kristy

Kristy specifically requested a photograph incorporating the spiral staircase at Calvary Methodist. I think Matthew knocked it out of the park on this shot!
