Melissa & I have known each other for quite a few years. We attended the same high school graduating only a year apart. She also served as a bridesmaid in some of my earliest weddings.
I was elated when she called to ask Matthew & I to photograph her wedding in Montego Bay Jamaica. Of course I said yes! Matthew & I love destination weddings but this was the first time we got to travel outside of the United States. We had such a great time during our stay. There were so many great moments we got to be apart of during this wedding. I am so excited to share them with you!!!
We started the day out at The Zilara Spa, the staff was super friendly and the space was perfect for Melissa & her girls to have fun while getting ready for the big day.

Melissa & Ryan opted to do a first look prior to the ceremony. 
These two were beaming the whole day! They are just so happy together!!
Melissa’s mother made all of the “boutonniere” pins these handsome gentlemen wore. 
The story behind Melissa’s flowers is such a nice story. Melissa said “My yellow rose bouquet came from my days of competitive dance where after every performance I would get a single yellow rose with a tag that read “tear drops from heaven” from my grandmother who passed away. It was a nice way to include her in our day.” I couldn’t agree more!
I loved her lace overlay for her gown. It made her sparkle in the sun.
I loved Melissa & Ryan’s ceremony. It was so touching and I was so happy to be there to capture all the amazing moments.
Sometimes I have to pinch myself to realize how lucky I am to work with amazing people in such amazing places. Look at that backdrop.
We did a few more photos with the two after the wedding along the beach as the sun was setting. I love the turnout. It was such a nice spot. 
How can you not love a first dance with that view??
We heard some great toasts to the couple.
Then everyone danced the night away! They were all having such a blast that the evening rain didn’t even phase them. They just kept on dancing!
