Lacey and Nick’s wedding was the perfect blend of timeless tradition, personal style, and a touch of dramatic weather—just enough to make their day feel like something out of a classic film. Held on a blustery March day, their celebration spanned some of Pittsburgh’s most iconic landmarks and brought together heartfelt details that reflected their unique personalities.
Getting Ready at the Sheraton Station Square
The day began at the Sheraton Station Square, where excitement buzzed through the air as Lacey and her bridesmaids prepared with a view of the city skyline. Before heading to the church, Lacey shared an emotional first look with her dad—a moment full of happy tears and quiet hugs that set the tone for the day.
Lacey was the picture of timeless elegance on her wedding day. Her simple, classic gown fit like a glove, highlighting her graceful style with understated beauty. She paired it with a veil trimmed in delicate lace—a stunning detail that added a romantic, vintage touch. One of our favorite moments? Snapping the sweetest photos of Lacey snuggled under her veil with her adorable flower girls.
Across the hotel, Nick had his own tender moment with his mom, doing a first look that left both of them smiling through tears.
The groomsmen were dressed to impress in deep green velvet suits, each jacket lined with a fabric that reflected their unique personalities—ranging from bold patterns to subtle, meaningful details. It was a personal and stylish touch that added to the day’s charm.
A Ceremony Steeped in Beauty and Emotion
The ceremony took place at the stunning St. Barbara’s Church in Bridgeville. As guests settled into the pews, the church’s historic beauty set a reverent tone. Then came the moment no one will forget: Lacey walking down the aisle to the sound of a single violin. The music echoed through the vaulted ceilings, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of St. Barbara’s gorgeous interior for a few portraits of the newlyweds. The soft light streaming through stained glass and the architectural elegance of the sanctuary created a perfect setting for quiet, romantic photos.
An Iconic Reception at LeMont
After the ceremony, the celebration continued high above the city at Pittsburgh’s legendary LeMont Restaurant on Mount Washington. With sweeping views of the skyline and the three rivers below, guests were treated to a reception that was both sophisticated and joy-filled.
Due to the chilly, blustery weather, we kept most of the couple’s portraits indoors. We wandered through the restaurant with Lacey and Nick, capturing quiet, intimate moments amidst the soft lighting and rich decor. A huge thank you to the LeMont staff for their patience and graciousness while we made the most of every corner of their beautiful space.
The reception was filled with unforgettable moments—from Lacey and Nick’s beautifully choreographed first dance that left guests cheering, to the incredible speeches that brought both laughter and tears.
And of course, no Pittsburgh wedding would be complete without a cookie table. Theirs was a sweet masterpiece, filled with homemade favorites lovingly baked by friends and family.
As the night rolled on, DJ Galiffa turned up the energy and had the dance floor rocking well into the night. Every song hit just right, and every guest felt part of the celebration.
Lacey and Nick’s day was a celebration of love, family, tradition, and joy—with just enough sparkle and sentiment to make it truly unforgettable.
Congratulations, Lacey & Nick! What a day to remember.
