Legare Waring House- Charleston South Carolina Wedding - Ashlee & Tony

I have been dying to share Ashlee & Tony’s Legare Waring House wedding since we traveled to Charleston South Carolina to photograph it. Matthew & I love traveling. To experience new places as destination photographers is such a privilege. I adored Charleston and I hope that we will get to go back there again in the future.

The bride, Ashlee, & I have basically known each other since birth. Our moms have been in the same friends’ group since they were in high school. Ashlee’s mom, Lori, even served as a bridesmaid at my parents’ wedding. So to have Ashlee ask us to document her wedding was such an honor. Here are some of our favorite photos.

This wedding exuded southern charm. Ashlee’s blush Allure bridal gown was dripping with lace. It was elegant and classic.

Tony wrote Ashlee a touching note…

It was a special moment between mother and daughter as the bride got into her gown. To make it even more special they used Ashlee’s great grandmother’s blue crochet hook to hook the loops on the back of her gown. It served as both something borrowed & something blue!

I love the look of pride & joy on Lori’s face as she smoothed the veil.

The house was so quaint.

This is the “Wedding Oak” it is one of Ashlee’s favorite spots at Legare Waring House. It looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale, so lovely and ethereal.
