Marissa & Chandler – A Carnegie Science Center Wedding

Let’s kick off the wedding season in 2022!

We were privileged to be a part of Marissa & Chandler’s gorgeous Carnegie Science Center wedding. This was our first time in the new wedding space at the Science Center and let me tell you we cannot wait to go back! It was a great space with a spectacular view.

We started out our day with Marissa, her mother & bridesmaids. Lots of laughter & memories were shared. Everyone was so excited the wedding day had finally arrived.

Even the couple’s cat, Maxwell, joined in on the photo fun

Marissa’s mom helped her get into her wedding gown as the bridesmaids hid away. They wanted to be surprised to see the complete look.

Safe to say they were blown away <3

Chandler awaited his bride at Holy Sepulcher Parish.

We utilized the North Shore for portraits. I love this spot by PNC at Mazeroski Way.

I love the lilac palette Marissa chose. Such a pretty choice for spring.

 Hearts & Flowers did a fabulous job on the bouquets.

Originally, the couple wanted to utilize the iconic Roberto Clemente Bridge for photos, but it was unfortunately shut down at the beginning of 2022 for a large bridge restoration project. We decided to head over to the Andy Warhol Bridge instead. I think Andy Warhol’s views are just as pretty.

These two share a love of science as chemists. So we had to take advantage of some of the spots inside the Science Center. My favorite was the NASA exhibit.

We also visited the Tesla Coil. It was a cool experience.

I loved that these two utilized very chemistry-themed decor.

They shared a beautifully choreographed dance that had a showstopping lift at the end that all the guests just loved!

We ended the night with a few night shots on the balcony. What an awesome way to end our coverage for the evening.

We so enjoyed celebrating with you two! Wishing you many happy years together.
