For a while now my sisters boyfriend, Mason had thought out how he wanted to propose. He bought the ring (of course I got to see it ahead of time! Since I’m her sister and all). He planned a romantic outing & dinner for them on their anniversary. He included both of our families as well since this was going to be a big event. We all knew except for her. I suggested to Mason that maybe Matthew and I could hide out to photograph the proposal, which he totally went for. We are photographers how could we not document this event??
We thought mother nature would ruin our plans when we woke up to rain this morning, but it held off long enough for us to head up to The Overlook at Mt. Washington by the Monongahela Incline. Mason, Kayleigh and our parents rode the incline up to the overlook while Matthew and I were already up there hiding… my sister at this time clueless to whats going on.
I think it will just be best if I let the photos tell the story of how the proposal went!
^^Cutest reaction ever!
At this point Kayleigh still has no idea Matthew is even taking photos of them.
And then she spots us!! She had to run over to hug me.
And of course I had to send them back out onto the Overlook for some more photos.
awwww. young love <3
Mason did good on the ring. It is a vintage ring from around the 1920’s. Super gorge.
Kayleigh had to take her puffer she was so excited HAHA!
^Then she had to call everyone!
Congratulations you guys! Cant wait to take their engagement session! Time to start planning the wedding! <3
