Meghan & Bryce – The Grand Concourse

Meghan & Bryce were all set to have their big, beautiful, Grand Concourse wedding in July of 2020. We were all so excited to celebrate with them, however, the Covid-19 pandemic threw a wrench in their plans. They decided to keep their friends & family safe and postponed their wedding, but they weren’t quite ready to postpone their marriage. So the two decided to elope with just their parents and their puppy, Teddy! I was able to snap a few portraits of them that day.

Fast forward to July 2021. It was finally time to celebrate with all their friends & family. We started the wedding day at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh for all the wedding prep.

Meghan’s Pronovias gown was absolutely stunning. The lace detail on the bodice was so delicate.

From the couple: “Bryce always had an eye for Meghan. During his senior year at college, he decided to take a leap of faith that he never before had the courage to take. He began an 8-month long endeavor to swoon his future wife into going on a date with him. One subtle attempt after another, he finally got his chance when he asked Meghan to be his date to his brother Kevin’s wedding.” … Alas she said Yes!

Although Bryce and Meghan were already married, on the day of their celebration, they made it official in the Catholic Church at Saint Peter’s in the North Side. It was super important to them to be married in the church as well as having their grandparents in attendance to witness them get married.

It’s official!!

We headed over to the North Shore to start the wedding photos.

This bridal party is the definition of squad goals! They kept the couple hyped and having fun!

From the couple: “We have formed a special connection that comes from the countless belly laughs we’ve shared, our willingness to make the other smile, and the way in which we always put the other person first.”

You could definitely see that shine through in the portraits.

On our first phone consult when Meg & Bryce first booked us they mentioned that they wanted photos on the Smithfield St. Bridge. They had looked at another blog I had done of the Grand Concourse and loved that we utilized “the Blue Bridge”.

The Smithfield is my favorite bridge in Pittsburgh so of course, we jumped at this request!

The Grand Concourse is such a gorgeous venue. It is so unique. The theme the couple chose was Pittsburgh Favorites. They really brought out the gold tones with just a pop of purple.

These two were just so excited to celebrate with their friends and family! What a wonderful celebration.
