It’s a romance for the modern age. Aubrey & Andy met through a dating app and hit it off right from the start.
From the bride: “We had our first date on July 28, 2018, at The Commoner at Hotel Monaco. Dinner went so well that I recommended we walk around Point Park. We ended up spending the next several hours walking around the park and talking – there were fireworks – literally, there was a Pirates game that night. We spent the night talking and talking until the Park Ranger got on the loudspeaker and announced the park was closing and we had to leave. Our second date was just two days later, and the third just a couple days after that. Just a week after meeting Andy, I flew to Florida to see my parents who were vacationing at the time. I told them that I met the man I was going to marry.
When you know, you know. And, we both knew from the beginning.”
These two chose the gorgeous, Omni William Penn Hotel for their wedding. Aubrey spent the morning in the Royal Suite with her bridesmaids and parents as they prepared for the wedding.
Aubrey’s Eve of Milady gown was absolutely stunning. It had such delicate embroidery and just a hint of blush tulle to make the little details stand out.
Her gown fit like a glove.
Andy’s groom’s gift was special. It was a very nice portrait of the Pittsburgh incline which is significant to the couple. Andy romantically proposed in the cable car as the couple ascended to the top of Mt. Washington.
The couple chose First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh for their nuptials.
It is such a beautiful church.
Aubrey’s cousin presided over the ceremony.
We headed to Mellon Square Park for portraits. It is such a nice park which happens to be next to the Omni.
We could have photographed these two for days. They were so natural and totally enamored with each other. It made our job so easy.
Aubrey’s vision for the wedding was Tuscan Romance. “What I love about Italy is that it’s centered around family, good food and laughter. You might be in these dreamy, scenic places but it’s comfortable and everyone is having a good time. I love the color palette in Tuscany – the neutral, warm tones and the light airy blues. I knew that I wanted the flowers to be just warm whites and greens. We had Italian Ruscus and even olive branches in our bouquets and centerpieces.” -Aubrey
All the pretty details.
The couple had a grand entrance to their reception and immediately went into their first dance as husband & wife.
The parents of the bride started the evening’s festivities with a welcome speech.
Aubrey’s sister Shea followed with a toast to the couple.
Andy’s best man, Drew finished off the toasts to the couple.
The bride shared an emotional dance with her father.
Andy followed with a sweet dance with his mom.
This group had a blast. They spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor partying the night away.
Aubrey & Andy, we had such a wonderful time celebrating with you. Thank you so much for choosing us to document your special memories.
