Rivers Casino Wedding - Kara & Gustavo - Weddings By Sal & Bella

Gustavo & Kara were married on a beautiful Saturday in May at Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The reception followed at the gorgeous Rivers Casino Ballroom. The couple shares a strong love for each other and travel. Kara says she used a travel theme as inspiration for the wedding because they started their romance at a long distance. They started their love story when Kara was visiting a friend in Miami, Gus happened to be a mutual friend and the rest was history!

We had such a great time celebrating with these two and here are some of our favorite photos from the big day.

Kara wore a Maggie Sottero gown with a beautiful sparkling belt. She accessorized with glittering jewelry and bedazzled shoes to complete her wedding day look.

Her dogs were by her side during the prep. Both dawned their wedding day bowties.

Heinz Chapel was beautiful as always.
Gus was so emotional as Kara walked down the aisle. It was so sweet.

Gus & Kara sealed their union with a handfasting ceremony.

We headed to the Roberto Clemente bridge. We got through all the photos before a quick summer storm rolled in.

The Ballroom at Rivers Casino was decorated beautifully.

From the Bride: “Instead of doing traditional table numbers we went with different neighborhoods around Pittsburgh and Miami to bring both of our cities into it. We also wanted to make sure that Gus’s family who is from Honduras, now living in Miami, felt included. We printed all the signs around the wedding in Spanish & English. I wanted orchids in my bouquet and as my centerpieces because that is the national flower of Honduras.”
