Stacey & Jonas celebrated their wedding at Stacey’s beautiful family home with their closest family and friends. It was a gorgeous summer Saturday. The ceremony took place under a huge tree, which just happens to be one of Stacey’s favorite spots so it was fitting that it was where she and Jonas said I do.
Here are some of our favorite images from their wedding day.
Stacey’s Mon Cheri gown fit her like a glove. It was so sleek and elegant.
Kiwi, Stacey’s puppy, served as flower girl.
Kiwi helped her momma get ready for the ceremony. I loved that she had her own gown to wear. Isn’t she seriously the cutest?!?!?!
The first time a dad sees his daughter on her big day always gets me. They are always so sweet and emotional.
We headed outside for some portraits.
Stacey & Jonas chose to keep things traditional. So after we finished the portraits of the bride, her family & the bridesmaids we hid her away so we could photograph the groom without him seeing her prior to the ceremony.
Jonas’s nephew served as ring bearer. I love his little bow tie!!
Both families are immensely talented with music. So it was only fitting that the ceremony was filled with beautiful music. First, there was a sax rendition of “Somewhere over the Rainbow”. Followed by a flutist. The string quartet played.
Father of the Groom, Hollis Thoms, composed a beautiful set of pieces for the ceremony. It was performed by brother and sister of the groom, Sonja & Jason.
As the bride walked down the aisle a portion of “Alpine Symphony” by Richard Strauss was played.
“It was a big brassy moment, which fits since Jonas plays the French Horn”. -Stacey
Jonas could not keep his eyes off of his beautiful bride.
Stacey’s father sang a solo for the couple. He sang a beautiful rendition of “Reckless Love” by Cory Ashbury. It was very moving.
The bridal party joined in a group prayer with the couple.
Before heading into the reception we had a little fun with the bridal party. I love this!
The reception started off with some wonderful speeches.
Just after the cake cutting a storm started to roll in. Luckily it was only a brief rain. The couple didn’t let it dampen their spirits. They carried on with the formal dances.
The best sunsets come after the rain.
The happy couple left their reception with a sparkler send off.
